Hetalia, dating back from WW I

I started watching Hetalia a bit, very amusing for a European. But this I cannot accept:

Apparently, Belgium has two other siblings, Luxembourg and Netherlands, and she is often bullied by them...

Even Hetalia is bullying us... ORZ...

Too much studying = instant death

Yes, the addition is correct. I am dead as of now, and will continue to go through life as a spirit. No Spell of Revival is even effective in this case. Now moving on to the entry itself...

I usually prefer music with vocals, but I have to admit I'm seriously in love with this song... <lj-embed id="4" />

I stumbled upon it by accident. I was downloading one of UVERworld's albums, AwakEVE, and I immediately fell in love with this song... I think I'm gonna use it as my alarm clock on my cell, at least then I'll be able to get out of my bed...

If you feel like waking up as well with some music, or just plain love the song. Download it here.
Fic- When saying something suggestive that really isn't meant to be suggestive you should explain

Title: When saying something suggestive that really isn't meant to be suggestive, you should explain a bit
Pairing: Gintoki x Okita
Warnings: Sadism, Yamazaki's kidnapping and death of strawberry milk

When saying something suggestive that really isn’t meant to be suggestive, you should explain a bit.
Gintoki slowly ate the sugary dumpling, savoring its taste as long as possible. He had just found this new dango shop – he hadn’t seen it before, and the owner didn’t know of his bad habit to not pay his bills, so the place must’ve been new – and had immediately sat down once he could smell the sent of tea coming from the small shop. Now he was enjoying a nice cup of tea, a few dango and an afternoon sunshine, even if it was already autumn. Now to only convince the owner to open a bill for him, and ‘promise’ to pay later on. There was no need to feel quilty; he was a poor wandering – or not so much wandering – samurai protecting the peace in Edo damn it, they least they could do was offer him a few dango and the occasional cup of tea. He took another sip of his tea and closed his eyes. Leaning back against the wall of the shop, he crossed his legs in his usual fashion and enjoyed the rare peace.

“Oi, shop owner! Don’t let this guy out of your sight; he’ll take a run for it as soon as you look away!”

So much for peace.

Gintoki felt caught, sort of, and looked up accusingly at the face of Edo’s sadist/Oogushi-kun’s assassin who went by many names, feared by all except by him and Kagura.

He felt a vein throb on his forehead in slight annoyance – there went his free meal – but he kept his voice steady as the young man sat down next to him with a smile.

“I haven’t seen you in a while, Danna.”

“Didn’t I already say you were kicked out of my house after murdering my precious strawberry milk?”

“This isn’t your house, Danna, it’s a rundown dango shop…”

“Same thing really…” Gintoki said, folding his arms behind his head and leaning back again. He looked at the young man after a few second of silence, “Shouldn’t you be slacking off somewhere?”

“That hurt, Danna, I’ll let you know that I take my job of killing Hijikata-san very seriously.”

“I was talking about the other job.”
“Oh… Yamazaki is already checking things, I’m sure he’ll manage.”

“Is that your way of putting your conscience at ease? For all you know, some flash guy might’ve just robbed a poor old geezer.”

“But Danna, didn’t I just save an old man from robbery? You’re quite flashy yourself.” And he looked back to see the owner of the dango shop coming outside to offer his new customer some tea, or maybe even to check whether Gintoki hadn’t taken a run for it yet.

“…Point taken.”

The owner seemed slightly puzzled at how Okita addressed Gintoki but paid it no further heed, and he saw the man was dressed in a Shinsengumi uniform so he wouldn’t let a man walk away without paying.

Gintoki had noticed the man’s confusion, and quickly connected the dots.

“Why exactly do you call me ‘Danna’?”

“Cause you’re the Yorozuya’s Danna obviously.” Okita answered, while chewing a dango loudly, earning a lecture.

“Did your mother never learn you to eat with your mouth closed, Souji-kun?”

“I’ve never known my mother, Danna, my sister always took care of me. And it’s Sougo, you’re mixing up the names, Danna...”

“Hn, that so?” He felt a bit bad about bringing the subject up of his sister, but it seemed the younger man had already moved past it, or he just didn’t show it. The guessed it was the second, which wasn’t really the best of the two.

“Still, when you only say ‘Danna’ it sounds rather suggestive.” Gintoki said, yawning and stretching a bit, “Really, kids these days…”

“I guess you’re right,” Okita said, taking a sip of his tea, “Should I try calling you by your name then?”

Gintoki shrugged, “Why not?”

“G…“ Okita hesitated a bit.

‘Is he embarrassed?’ Gintoki smirked a bit.

“Gin…” But instead of embarrassment, Okita had a look of intense concentration on his face.

Gintoki’s face fell.

“You have no idea what my full name is, don’t you?”

Okita smiled and took another sip of tea, “No.”

Gintoki groaned.

“Are you the kind of person to skip the introduction pages at the beginning of a volume? Being all high and mighty, thinking that you already know every character! If you skip a volume or two, there are always bound to be some new characters, you idiot!”

Okita didn’t respond, merely grabbed his last dumpling and, unlike Gintoki earlier, ate it up rather swiftly.
“Back on the topic of the story, it’s only suggestive if you want it to be, Danna.”

Suddenly, that ‘Danna’ sounded slightly different to him.

“You’re on duty, your badminton friend will come looking for you…”

“Ah, did I say Yamazaki was patrolling instead of me? I actually took the car so he’s probably still running towards here, the barracks aren’t that far but if you have to walk…”

“I don’t want to know what’ll become of Edo if people like you are supposed to protect it.” Gintoki added deadpan.

Okita got up from his spot, strapped his katana back on his waist and readied himself to walk off again.
“Oi,” Gintoki said, getting up as well, “Would you mind paying for me as well? Consider it retribution for killing Strawberry Milk.”

“Actually,” Okita turned to him with a serious look on his face, “I don’t have any money on me. I was kind of counting on you, Danna.”

Gintoki’s face fell again.

“How he hell can you count on me?! I’m always broke!”

The owner seemed to have been alarmed by the sudden increased volume and came out, only to see two figures run away at full speed.

“You’re a police officer and you just committed a crime! I’ll report you damnit!” Gintoki said, just avoiding someone out for a walk.

“Danna, I’m one of the captains of the Shinsengumi, I’m allowed to do that.” Okita retorted, not even dodging people but just going in one straight line. They rounded a corner and stopped in an alleyway.

“So, ten o’ clock?” Okita said, not even out of breath because of the running.

“Che, you’re still not allowed inside.”

He didn’t respond to that and just peered around the corner, looking for an angry owner that was pursuing them, but he spotted something completely different.

“Ah, it seems I’ll have to leave you for now, Danna.” Okita said, looking around the corner, “Badminton player spotted, and he seems rather tired.” He turned to look at the older man and walked up to him.

“So,” Okita said, “I’ll see you tonight.”

A vein on Gintoki’s forehead throbbed, “I already told you that-“

But he was cut of by a very persuasive argument in the form of a lip-lock. He had to admit the kid was bold when he wanted to, even for his young age. He responded, and was slightly amused as his lips still tasted like the dango he had had earlier, a pleasant added bonus. He let his back fall against the wall so he could deepen the kiss, and he felt the younger man's arms snake around his waist. He forgot all his surroundings, and was going to take of the man’s jacket when he broke the kiss.

Okita had an amused look on his face – or at least something like that – and stepped away.

“See you tonight, Danna.” He straightened his uniform a bit, “Or am I still banned from your house?”

Gintoki resisted the urge to lick his lips and leaned back on the wall, closing his eyes.

“Bring a carton of strawberry milk, and I shall consider it.”

When he opened his eyes, he could just see Okita walk out of the alley back to the busy street with a wave, but he still hadn’t gotten an answer. He shrugged.

‘He’ll come.’ And he started walking in the opposite direction.

“Ah! Okita-taichou!” Yamazaki called out his name, to make sure his captain would see him and walked up to him. “Ah, I’ve been looking everywhere for you, Sir!”

“Go get me a carton of strawberry milk.”

Yamazaki sweat-dropped.

“Are?”

“The cigarettes are taking too long, I have decided to start killing Hijikata by giving him diabetes.” Okita answered, a look of pure thought on his face; that plan wasn’t even half as bad…

“Where’s the strawberry milk?” Gintoki asked, leaning against the doorframe.

“I send Yamazaki to get some, but he hasn’t come back yet. I think some Jouishishi caught him.” Okita said, completely unfazed by the badminton player’s disappearance.

“Still not getting in.” He crossed his arms over his chest, the kid wasn’t gonna pull another stunt like that, this time he would be the one celebrating victory.

“I have the whole day off tomorrow.” Okita added as an afterthough.

“…”

“…”

“Get in.” And Gintoki immediately pulled the younger man inside.
Rambling of a very tired writer...

I have gotten lots of reviews on my collection of GinTae one-shots on Fanfiction.net, so to please my readers who don't read yaoi a bit, I started a fic about the pairing. I don't find it as simple as HijiGin to write, since there are lots of doujin which can give me inspiration, but this one-shot is something I came up myself, though after watching an episode. I don't have the humourous dialogues between Hijikata and Gintoki to fall back on, nor Okita's sadistic antics to make it a bit more Gintama-style, but I can still perfectly use Shinpachi's sister complex (which doesn't get noticed enough in GinTae fic, although there aren't much of those), Kyuubei's protectiveness of Tae, Kondo's stalking, fried-eggs, Dark Matter etc. Somehow it feels like I'm over-analysing things again... Basicly, it's just a mix of all the above...

I should actually be getting some school work/study done, but fanfiction in itself is studying English, so I think my English exam will go pretty well if I continue like this. I do however don't have that much time left, I hate it so when exams roll around, I can never study in the weeks before them, but when it's the next day I am actually forced to study so of course things go way smoother then.

On another subject, I think I'll rewatch 'Galileo' again. It's a J-drama, the first I watched and probably the best. The series is based on the novels 'Tantei Galileo' but I can't seem to find the translation anywhere on internet, which is rather frustrating. It's basically about a rookie cop searching the help of a physics professor to solve a seeingly 'impossible' case. It's rather scientific, but very enjoyable. The dynamics between the two of them are very amusing to watch, and the cases are always very detailed and explain the 'unexplainable'. Pity there were only 11 episodes, even if we did get a movie and some sort of special... I wish they'd make a second season.

I am actually rather tired, but the amount of coffee I've drunk ought to keep me awake for another hour or so. Talking about coffee, the professor, Yukiwara, in 'Galileo' often drinks instant coffee... Gotta love the guy <strike>though he is a little crazy...</strike>
Merry Christmas~

I know I'm rather early, but I could not wait another month or so to post this:

Hei still looks like a hobo (although he does start to ressemble L a bit), Suou is just wtf and again, the creepy smile gives of a pedo-like image... I don't think I've ever seen Hei wear something other than his cape, jeans or shirt... <strike>The red colour suits him. And what's up with the random Eiffel Tower on the background? The story is supposed to take place in Russia and Japan, last time I checked that thign was still located in Paris.</strike>

Now all we need is a bunch of Mao, one with a bright red nose, to pull the sled...

Merry (early) Christmas everyone!

EDIT: I now know that's the Tokyo tower, thank you chiboula XD <strike>It still looks life the Eiffel Tower to me.
</strike>
On the subject of killing ITunes

I cleaned my computer just now, seeing as the damn thing is rather old, I've been fearing it's crash for a while now, and I would be damned if all my music and fanfiction would go down with it. So I started cleaning a bit, put all my music in one map so I could compress it and put it on a disc and finally, when I was done, I decided to start listening to some music only to notice that ITunes seemed to have no music on it at all. I could freakin' kill it! It's always the same, as soon as I put my music somewhere else, it starts freaking out. But now it was actually to the point of no return, so I have to re-upload it all. Even though most of it is now restored, there are a few songs that ITunes can't find, so I have to click each song seperately and always go back to the same freaking map. Good god, I was actually trying to be productive for once and I get smacked right in the face for it... As soon as ITunes is completely restored, I'll let it play and ignore it for a whole day...

I just felt like venting my frustration a bit, I'm finished now.
Fansubs at their best

I just had to post this, I cannot withhold my laughter XD I was <strike>talking</strike> commenting to chiboula just now on how fansubbers easily make mistakes, and when I searched for some more on google I found this:

OMG XDDDD

Then again, you can also translate the same sentence completely differently:

No comments left here XD

This really is over-explaining things...

Then this needs no explanation at all...

I think there is some sort of miscommunication here...

Again, slight misunderstanding...

This is more the fault of the makers but it's still funny as hell XD

I don't even know what they're trying to say here...

>_>

That is all...

Personality test, since we all love taking these...

After stalking my friends page a bit, I found that chiboula had done a little personality test, so I did the same, see here the result:

PS: Seriously, all in French, I have no idea why I did that, there are probably loads of mistakes...

<endljcut></endljcut>

Ruckus mixed with spectres and the like

Yesterday evening, I finally decided to pick up another anime. I started Baccano! (Which is Italian for 'noise', or 'ruckus' if you want to be precise) but I actually stopped somewhere near the end of the first episode. It's about Chicago, around 1930, mixed with maffia, Immortals, Takasugi's and Matsudaira's voice actor, where in the OVA Sugita comes in as well, and add some suspense and NC-17 rated violence to that, and a hint of comedy to finish it off. It has like 10 main characters or something, and they each have different stories which will intertwine with each other nearing the end of the series. I found it rather confusing really, but I might pick it up again. The main reason why I started watching it because it has such a nice, lol-inducing opening, which really gives off a <strike>Lupin</strike> Chicago feeling:

<lj-embed id="3" /></div>
The actual reason why I stopped watching is because, at the same time, I decided to start watching Ghost Hunt. I know, I'm weird, I tend to do several things at the same time, they call it multi-tasking. Back to my point, I started Ghost Hunt but didn't found the first episodes very appealing, but I continued to watch anyway. And I can say I am starting to like it, even though it is generic. By generic I mean boy meets girl, one of the two has some sort of ties with the supernatural and the other soon joins him/her on the adventures, but this is slightly different. Even though the whole series revolve around ghosts, they do however show a more scientific side to 'believing'. I enjoy it, and it even has some romance in there, which is a nice added bonus if the story doesn't get too soppy after a while. I had reached episode 4 or 5 last night, and damn, it was soooo creepy. I usually don't get creeped out by a lot, and the anime on itself isn't meant to be creepy, but the fact that it was already pitch black outside and it was about dolls. I hate dolls, I remember now why I never wanted to have one back when I was still a little kid, I will never like them, I've always liked stuffed animals a lot more...

Somehow, this doesn't even feel like a blog entry anymore once I start talking about stuffed animals...

To continue ranting, I have tomorrow off so that means I can relax some. I plan on re-watching D.Gray-Man, I've been wanting to re-watch it for a while now, I really loved the series. It could be so sad, I'm not gonna say anything since it could be that people who are planning to watch or are watching it are reading this, but I can only say the last arc was soooooo sad. I feel like crying whenever I think about it.

Now that I watch the Baccano! opening, I remember finding a Gintama parody of it somewhere on YouTube involving a Justaway, inducing even more lol than the original one seeing as the opening would actually fit for Gintama. Meh, I'll post it later...
Cold O_O

It's cold, it's freaking cold. Why the hell did my central heating decide to break down when the winter is just starting?! Thank god it's not like that in the whole house, just in this room. I have to let my door open so the heat from the other room can come into this one, and it's not working. Somehow, whenever I post something I'm either complaining about something or ranting about useless things. I feel like a real blogger...

Now on to the ranting. I've read some Death Note today, and it was such so suspenceful that I read the whole volume. I've now reached volume 8, and am still crying over L's death. I love the guy, he's always eating sweets and he was eating these panda-cookies in volume 7, I really love those panda-cookies... I haven't eaten those in a long time.

While I continue to freeze and crave for panda-cookies, have a look at this Gintama screenshot:

I love that scene XD They're like two kiddies sharing a cookie. (PANDA-COOKIE!!!!) Obviously the HijiGin/GinHiji fangirl in me really enjoys this scene.

I'm off getting some panda-cookies and a blanket now...

Update... Or not so much...

Just felt like talking a bit really, nothing worthwile you're going to see here. I read Fruits Basket volume 2 last night - one of the very few shoujo series I like - and I felt soooo sorry for Hatori. People who don't read Fruits Basket might be wondering what the hell I'm talking about but I felt so sad after reading that... And even though Gintama is a shounen series, it really has such good drama once in a while and oh so cute and touching moments. The episode with Kagura's umbrella for example. I went 'Awww' at the end of that.

I have also read the RAW of Gintama (read is a big word, I just look at the pictures and guess what's going on, practising my kanji will have to wait) and I can say this arc is going to be awesome, I guess Ketsuno Ana will be on the cover for the new volume, or did she get a cover already? I don't really know... Also saw the RAW for Darker Than Black, Shikkoku no Hana chapter 11 just now, but it looks like the action will have to wait till the next chapter, I'm so spoiled because of Gintama's quick developments. Then there's still the Gintama episode from yesterday, and seeing as I have no other idea how to fill this up, let's give you some screenshots:

Shinpachi being not very happy with his 8th place. Oh well, don't worry about it, Shin-chan, you did good for a glasses-chara.

JUSTAWAAAAY! YOU DAMN DESERVE THAT 21st PLACE!!!!

Kyuubei assembling her army to overthrow the Popularity Polls... That didn't sound very right...

Tae on her way to beat up the orignial maker. RUN SORACHIII! RUUUUN!

Oops, too late... May you rest in peace, Sorachi-san...

They even showed the rankings in the ED XD On another note, the Joui boys also joined Gin-san in the OP, but I couldn't find a screenshot of that so yes. No Gin-san in this episode, but we will get to see him in a red fundoshi in this arc so it's all soooo worth it!

I've already watched the newest DTB episode partly in RAW, but will probably comment on it later <strike>since there aren't any screenshots yet for me to steal.</strike>

Going over to a different subject, it's been quite a while since I wrote any GinTae, but I've got a little idea. But the more I think about it, the less good it sounds. Still got the weekend ahead of me, I still have some time left. Or not...
Fic - Crossdressing isn't only done by okama

Got a request on FF.net, and here's the result of that. I officially celebrate my quickest update ever!

Pairing: HijikataxGintoki
Rated T
Warnings: crossdressing, okama, Gintoki's 'A Thousand Winds' and mention of a Death Note

Crossdressing isn’t only done by okama

‘It’s for the rent.’ He swung his hips and tried to focus more on the dancing then on his thoughts, ‘It’s for the rent, there’s no helping it. If you don’t finish this job, you will get thrown out of your house.’ The room reeked of cigarettes, even though there were only a few customers. The pace of the song quickened and he had a harder time keeping up. ‘You don’t want to starve to death, you have a pet and a kid who can eat their whole weight in food fifty times a day, you don’t need pride in these hard times…’

“Paako, swing your hips more~” Came the voice from Agomi, that damn bastard…

‘You don’t need pride… Don’t need it. Don’t… Naha, no, none…’

Gintoki continued to dance to the music whilst the guests clapped and Agomi played the shamisen in the far corner,

‘But why do I always have to be the one dancing?! I can’t even dance!’

Damn okama, damn rent, damn old bat with her rent and damn Kagura for using all their money – correction, his money – to buy herself sukonbu. Why did he have to be the one to get out to work? She was the one that had eaten them bankrupt. And damn the little pink fans he had to dance with. Thank god for him, the song finally finished and he bowed, quickly descending from the stage. Agomi stood up from his/her position on the ground, where he/she had played the shamisen and walked up to him. “You danced wonderfully, Paako!”

“Shut up, Agomi!” He replied, fixing his kimono a bit, damn dress-code…

“It’s Azumi, you idiot! How long are you gonna keep up that joke?!”

“It’s all the same…” And he took the shamisen from him/her, saying that he wasn’t going to be the one who was dancing the next song. He started to play – A Thousand Winds, he didn’t know any other song – not really paying attention to what was going on, and continued to do so for a few seconds, only to have ‘Agomi’ – “It’s Azumi, you idiot!” – snatch it away again, saying that he’d better leave the playing to him/her. He stood up again and walked over to the bar, if he was lucky, there wouldn’t be that much customers this evening so he could finish this job without being all too humiliated. And finally get his money, the most important part. Just why did he have to be in an okama bar? Seriously, he could go work as a host for all he cared, but someone might get a little jealous, so he worked like this, less chance that he discovered him here.

“That’s alright, Paako,” Mademoiselle Saigou – aka the monster – approached him and handed Gintoki a bottle of sake. “We’re shorthanded, you can go and help out a few of our customers.”

He was going to protest, but the look he was getting from the monster didn’t seem all too friendly.

“Where?”

The monster pointed towards a table and without looking, Gintoki started walking towards the table, only to stop halfway, feeling his stomach churn.

“Ah, Toujo, I still don’t see why this could be helpful.” Kyuubei sat at one of the tables, katana next to her with a hand brought to her chin, her eyes closed in thought.

“This is just perfect for you, Waka, this way you can get used to men.” Toujo answered, sitting down next her, careful to keep a safe distance between them. “These are men, while they actually aren’t men but actuallywomen.”

Kyuubei looked up, opening her eyes to look at her subordinate. “I think I understand whaty ou are implying, Toujo. It is a rather complicated matter… I somehow feel a form of sympathy for these women…”

Toujo nodded and smiled, looked up and saw an okama in a pink kimono nearing. “Ah, Miss!” Gintoki had just turned his back at them and was going to take a run for it when he heard the man calling for him. He cursed all gods he knew and put on his best okama-face.

“Yes, Sir?” He blinked a few times to add to the effect and was glad when Toujo didn’t recognize him – the fan that he was holding partly over his face probably helped too.

“Would you care to bring us some sake please?” Gintoki nodded, walked to them as womanly as he could and brought them their drink, trying to hide his face a bit behind his hair and the fan. He poured it for them – fan still in place – trying to pour the sake quickly and make a run for it afterwards.

“Would you mind to accompany us for a bit? We’d love if it you would.” Toujo said, patting the space between him and Kyuubei with his hand and glancing over at his young master, who nodded and scooted a bit further so that Gintoki could pass. Gintoki panicked, if he were recognized, he didn’t even want to think about the consequences. His eyes darted back and forth, trying to look for a way out, only to lock with the eyes of his current boss, who cracked his/her knuckles, making the decision a tad bit easier for Gintoki.

Gintoki tried not to seem too terrified and slowly walked past Kyuubei to sit down next to her. He felt his knee come in contact with hers and was ready to give up his life but was surprised when the young woman didn’t do anything.

“E-excuse me.” Gintoki quickly said, not believing he had just escaped a horrible and cruel death by the hands of a crossdressing young lady –scratch that, psychopath - with an eye patch.

“I-it’s nothing.” Kyuubei replied, glancing at Toujo who stuck up his thumb and flashed a smile at her. Gintoki tried to act as natural as possible – at least how an okama would act – and finally sat down nervously. He was trapped, surrounded by two swordsmen – one of them being a deadly crossdressing man-woman – who couldn’t find out his real identity under any circumstances, and then there was still Mademoiselle Saigou, who seemed even worse than the two above combined. This was really bad for his heart, he would surely get killed by a heart attack of stress, otherwise it would be one caused by a Death Note, but he hadn’t done anything memorable enough to receive divine retribution from someone, at least he hoped so…

“So…”

Toujo started, obviously trying to start up a conversation,

“How are you doing?”

And failing.

Gintoki tried to keep his cool, even though Kyuubei was looking intensely at him – maybe she wondered why he was keeping the fan in front of his face – and replied.

“Why thank you, Sir, I am doing just wonderful~.” He waved his fan some more and fluttered with his eye lashes. “Would you like some more sake?” He asked, noticing Toujo had already drunk half of it. Kyuubei was still staring at him, making him uncomfortable, and even Toujo had noticed it. Gintoki tried to ignore it.

‘She’s not on to me, she’s not-‘

“You,” She started, and Gintoki thought he was going to have a heart attack – damn Death Note – but tried to keep his hand steady seeing as he was pouring sake and the other one was keeping them from finding out his real identity, yet.

“Your eyes are shining with an intense light, a light that looks like it has seen a lot of battles…” She started. “I have the feeling I have fought you before, in a very intense battle even.”

Gintoki sweat-dropped. ‘That’s because you have!’ He screamed in his mind, taking over Shinpachi’s role in his absence.

“But still, I guess that is just ridiculous. Although I do have the feeling I have seen you somewhere before.”

‘Once again, you actually know me very well!’ But outwardly he just laughed lightly and continued to pour sake.

“Now that you say so, I do have the feeling that I have met you before, could it be?”

“Oh my, what a cheap pick-up line, Sir.” Gintoki said to Toujo. ‘If have to keep this up much longer I’m gonna need therapy…’ He added as an afterthought.

Kyuubei looked him straight in the eye and he felt himself breaking out in sweat. That was it, they were coming too close right now. Gintoki slammed the sake bottle down on the table, effectively breaking it and sending its content all over the floor and his two guests.

“Oh my, what have I done.” He said, acting to be both surprised and upset. “How clumsy of me, I will personally get you some more, Sir.” He said, and with a wave, he dashed off, leaving Kyuubei and Toujo alone again, both covered in sake.

“And still, Toujo, I have the feeling I have battled her before.” Kyuubei said, holding her chin with her right hand in thought.

“You might be right, Waka.” Toujo said, a serious look passing over his features. “But if you do feel the need to battle her, Waka, I suggest you should wear this cosp –“

And Kyuubei knocked Toujo out with an uppercut that could rival Otae’s.

Gintoki looked behind him, just in time to see Kyuubei deliver a blow to Ayumu, and he was glad he was no longer present at the party.

“Oi, Agomi!” He called, picking his nose.

“It’s Azumi!”

“Whatever,” He shrugged, “Those customers asked me if you could bring them some extra sake.” He added and pointed to the Kyuubei’s table, where Toujo had merged with the ceiling.

The okama walked over to the table and Gintoki turned away, he didn’t want to have anything to do with this anymore. He still had five hours left before his job was finally finished and he couldn’t wait to get home and drink some well-deserved strawberry milk, like real men. He ignored the fact that real men didn’t wear women’s clothes – it was a job, a man had to be able to throw his pride out of the window every now and then – and was going to go into hiding for the remaining two hours when once again he got caught by the monster him/herself. He scanned the area but was already too late.

“Paako,” Gintoki didn’t think he could make a run for it in and just listened to what he/she had to say – damn confusing okama. “Just now, some customers entered, go entertain them a little. Pour some sake for them and make some small talk, nothing big.”

Gintoki wanted to say he had had his own fair share of customers today, but complied without any witty remarks or complaints, heading towards the direction he was told to. Once again, he froze halfway. This couldn’t be happening, no, naha…

‘Whyyyyyy hiiiiim?!’

He shook his head furiously, looked again and was damn sure he had seen right. This could not be happening, this is something that happened in fanfiction! Oh wait, this was fanfiction… When and where had he signed for this again?

Hijikata Toshirou, demon vice-commander, had just been brought in by his commander, accompanied by Okita. They had left the vice-commander at a table and had exited the bar again. What the hell was that guy doing here? Not what, more like why? Why was a demon vice-commander spending his free time in an okama bar? Gintoki looked back at his boss, seeing him/her crack his knuckles again, he put up his hands in defense and unwillingly walked over to the table, sake bottle in hand.

“Hello, Sir.” Gintoki sat down next to him, fluttered his eye lashes – that usually did the trick – and put the sake bottle down on the table with a thud, shielding his face mostly with one of his fans.

“Ah, hello.” Hijikata replied absentmindedly– which was, under these circumstances, actually good – and put his cigarette out in the ash tray that had been placed on the table. Gintoki poured sake, still not getting Hijikata’s complete attention, and poured some for himself as well.

‘If he’s gonna be like that the whole time, there won’t be a problem, right?’ He inwardly thanked whoever up there responsible and took his sake cup, actually enjoying it for the first time that evening.

Hijikata was looking at the table and then glanced shortly at ‘Paako’.

“Hey…” He suddenly spoke up, finally turning around to face Gintoki fully, who was starting to panic a little.

“Would you happen to have a lighter? I think I lost mine.”

He sighed in relief.

“Certainly, Sir,” Gintoki replied, “I’ll go fetch you one.” And he walked off.

‘He hasn’t recognized me! Thank god…’ Gintoki thought, grabbing some matches behind the bar and heading back to the room full of cigarette smoke and cheap lights. He walked back to Hijikata’s table, at the far end of the room, and sat down next to the man who already had a cigarette between his lips.

“Would you?” He started to ask, Gintoki catching on what he meant.

‘Damn.’ He’d have to put away his fan. Why hadn’t he found a lighter or something? Never mind, it was too late anyway. He put the fan on the table, still trying to shield his face at least a bit with his hair and lit Hijikata’s cigarette with a match. He muttered a thanks in return and visibly seemed to relax more as he inhaled the smoke. Gintoki took the fan and was already going to cover up his face a bit but Hijikata stared at him, intensely, very intensely…

“Mm…”

Gintoki started to sweat a little.

“I have the feeling I have seen you before, I feel a sudden annoyance by your presence but also a small form of respect… It is as if I have fought you before…”

‘That’s because you freaking have!!’ But Gintoki just put the sleeve of his kimono to his mouth to stiff a giggle. “I get that a lot, Sir.”

“I’m sure you do…” Hijikata replied, taking the cigarette out of his mouth to blow out some smoke.

Hijikata stared at him again for what seemed like hours, but actually were only a few seconds. Gintoki stared back and suddenly saw Hijikata’s eyes widen in recognition. Gintoki still had some hope that he hadn’t been discovered yet, but quickly discarded that last bit of hope as soon as he heard the tone of Hijikata’s voice.

“…Do you have no pride at all?”

Gintoki put his sake cup down and didn’t even try to keep up the okama-act anymore.

“I threw my pride out of the window for a while and took this job to pay the rent.”

“…”

“…What?”

“Go commit seppuku.”

“…”

Gintoki thought it over for a second, and pulled out the okama-act again.

“My my, Sir, we do not use such language here~.” He smiled at him and picked up the other’s cup of sake. “Would you like some?”

“Don’t ‘Sir’ me,” He hissed.

“Then would you prefer ‘Your Lordship’?” Gintoki added seductively.

“I don’t give a damn!” And Hijikata slammed down his fist on the table.

“Oh my, Mister, you really do like violence.” Gintoki replied, acting shocked, putting a hand in front of his mouth but not making any effort to get the other to calm down.

“Cut the act, Yorozuya. If you really think I’m gonna let myself be served by you while you’re dressed like an o-“

“Sir.” They had apparently attracted some attention and the boss of the bar had approached their table, “All of the ladies here have the honorable job of serving you clients, but please treat them with the necessary respect.”

“Monsters should shut up!” And Hijikata turned his attention to Gintoki again.

Gintoki closed his eyes as he heard some more things break. Mademoiselle Saigou had hit Hijikata hard enough to send him flying to the other end of the bar.

“Who are you calling a monster?”

“Why am I stuck doing this?” Hijikata asked, trying not be embarrassed as he danced in front of a public while wearing a purple kimono with flower pattern, make-up and a wig.

“Cause you called the monster a monster.”

“You just called him a monster as well!”

“But I am here on a job, Mayoko,” Gintoki replied, dancing along, “A man must be able to throw away his pride.”

Hijikata cursed. “I might as well commit seppuku.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Swing your hips more, Mayoko, if you go along for a bit the monster will let you go eventually.”

“How long is ‘a bit’ exactly? And stop using that ridiculous name, Paako” Hijikata said, “Unlike you, I still have a job and people counting on me.”

“You think I’m doing this for fun?”

“So it was you, back then.”

“You mean with the Shogun? That was that old man’s fault, I had nothing to do with it, I just did as I was told. I even tried to save the situation a bit.”

“Whatever…” And Hijikata waved the fans some more, damn things…

The song was finally finished and both were glad as they descended the stage, getting a half-heartedly applause from their small public. Hijikata was only glad for that, heavens know what Sougo would do if he found out that he was dressed up as a woman and dancing in a bar with the Yorozuya, not that he didn’t already know what was going on between the two of them. How he had figured that one out was still past him, he’d probably never know how the sadist got his ways.

“Paako, Mayoko.” Both turned at the sound, instinctively holding each a fan to cover their face, only showing their eyes. “A client just requested to have a drink with you two.” And he showed them the table. Hijikata froze in his tracks, as did Gintoki.

‘Whyyyyy hiiiiim?!’ They simultaneously screamed out in their minds as they saw Okita Sougo sitting at a table, enjoying his sake. He noticed them and gave them his best smile, waving at them innocently.

They had approximately one minute to think of a plan. Escape was not possible, all they could do was act as natural as possible and hope – pray – that Okita would not recognize them.

They sat down, Gintoki at his right and Hijikata at his right, and both held the fans to their face.

“Aw, come on, don’t be shy.” Okita said, lifting his glass and smiling, “The night has just begun!”

Both Hijikata and Gintoki had the sudden urge to make a run for it, but Okita lay a hand on their shoulder and smiled at both of them.

They looked at each other, each with the same look of dread.

‘We’re doomed…’

They had finally escaped, the bar had closed and Sougo had gone off, much to Hijikata’s relief. He did however fear that Sougo had recognized him, he had probably taken a photo or something with that spy camera of his and was now on his way to his doom. He didn’t think he’d be able to recover from this, he had already been accused of paying Yorozuya to sleep with him not to mention he had revealed some more info on some private matters that did not needed to be shared with the rest of the world. Hijikata went over to pick up his clothes and katana, together with Gintoki, glad to be able to change into his normal clothes again, and still mused what Sougo would do to blackmail him with this.

“But really, Hijikata-kun,” Gintoki suddenly spoke up as soon as no one could hear them anymore, fluttering with his eye lashes for extra effect, “If you wanted to see Gin-san in a kimono, you could have just asked, I would’ve gladly done it for you~”

“Who in their right mind would want to see you like this?!”

“Oh that hurts, Oogushi-kun.”

“It’s Hijikata.”

They entered their changing room and Hijikata threw his yukata and katana on the nearest bench, already getting the make-up off his face. Gintoki did the same, discarded the kimono and put on his normal clothes. Hijikata was already back in his yukata when Gintoki was still buttoning his shirt. Hijikata sat down, waiting for Gintoki to finish when the latter stood up and sat down next to him.

“You actually did look good in that outfit.” Hijikata felt both faltered and insulted at the same time, but let the other kiss him anyway after making sure there was no one left. He deepened the kiss, feeling the other throw his arms around his neck while his easily slipped under his shirt, pulling him closer. His evening off had changed into a crossdressing party and this was a welcome distraction, he didn’t have to think about the consequences of this evening anymore. They broke apart and Gintoki rested his forehead on Hijikata’s, catching his breath.

“Oogushi-kun?”

“Hn?”

He grinned.

“You do realize I’ve just taken you to a gay bar?”

“… “

“…”

“…Go commit seppuku.”

Writer's block isn't block anymore

Thank god for that, I was a bit stuck but I managed to close the gap and am now writing. I only get ideas when I'm writing, usually when I start something, I have the general idea but most of the plot and other random jokes, not to mention the crack, just come. This longer fic I'm writing is being a bitch. I already know all things that still need to be told in the chapter, but it's still hard to get it on paper. Some passages are really easy, while others... not so much. And I still don't have a title, truth to be told, I just want to give it a good title that I really like, more then an easygoing one I don't like that much, I know, I'm thinking too much about it...

I also got a request on FF.net, someone who wants to see a HijiGin fic with Paako, which would technically be a HijiPaako fic. I don't have an idea for a plot yet, but I'm busy thinking of one. I should maybe re-watch some of the eps where Paako appears, might give me some ideas. For some reason, I wanna get Hijikata to crossdress as well, say hello to Toshiko! Or Hijiko, I'm even considering Mayoko... I wonder if that can still be considered HijiPaako... This is getting complicated. Oh well, since I'm spamming your friends page like this, might as well ask. Which one of the three do you prefer? Or do you have a suggestion of your own? Feel free to leave a comment and help this poor writer out, or if you happen to know a plot or something, don't hesitate to click that button and leave a Justaway.

I'm off to get some more coffee...

PS: I personally love Mayoko the most, but I still leave the decision up to you.
Oh yes...

For the lack of a better title, I know. First I was gonna complain a little on how I haven't had a voice these past few days. Halloween's over but I still sound like a witch, not that I was trying to impersonate one in the first place. I was tempted to use a sign like Eli, but I refrained form doing so. I can still go the American way and use my <strike>old</strike> DS to communicate...

Now to the more fun part, I was just checking Kana's website (the guys who release manga in both Dutch and French) and it seems that they will be releasing Kuroshitsuji starting this Friday. Oh yes... I had just been talking to chiboula how I really wanted them to translate it and tada, there it is. Slightly creepy, I didn't even use my crystal ball... They did however change the title to 'Black Butler' but that isn't such a big deal, only now to figure out how to get it. I almost live on the French border, but still it's a pain to actually find French manga, what am I saying, it's already a pain to find Dutch manga. The fact that I don't have a bank cart makes it even more difficult, seeing as most online shops where I can order require a bank cart, and even if they're willingly enough to let you pay in another way, you have to actually live in France... Damn lazy bastards... No offense to French people of course, I am partly French myself but still, couldn't hurt to import a few things would it? We're probably to blame as well, being proud and Flemish... We chased the French away in the 14th century but they came back later and burned down the whole city, there's probably some grudge left against French people in general...

But on another note, we do actually have French magazines here, so it probably is just me, right?

To fill up the entry, stare at wonderful Sebastian as he continues to pour some Grey Earl (which isn't actually grey, mind you, it looks more like coffee to me, then again, me being a coffee addict makes me see coffee everywhere):

(I stole the picture from their website, don't tell...)
One Piece of an entry...

To vent off my frustration a bit, let's post something. On dreaming_fate's advice, I watched the sixth movie of One Piece, and I can say I really loved it. Even though the character designs seem simple at first, there are scenes when their features are complex and really nicely drawn. Humour was also something that took me by surprise, even though it may seem generic at first, it's actually really funny. The storyline was touching, I really felt sorry for the Baron, and the situation is familiar; no one wants to lose their comrades. And the backgrounds were just... wow. The trees were so realistic and there's so much detail, really beautiful. I am tempted to go and watch the other movies.

I never really started One Piece before because the first episodes are such low quality, I'm so spoiled by modern-day animation and colours. I'll read the first chapters of the manga and then maybe start the anime, on one of the episodes where the animation is already better. I gave a friend of mine (who also likes manga, one of not many here) Volume 1 a while back as a present, but never really thought about buying it for myself. Oh well... Other question that's keeping me busy, I saw the movie but there was only one little scene where there was a little bit of blood. I just found it rather surprising that there wasn't more, don't get me wrong, a good anime doesn't equal a bloody one but I'm just curious as to why. Just a film without all too much blood or is the whole anime like that? It does have a lot of fighting scenes and all, I am strange as to think about things like that...

On another note, anyone know a good anime to watch? I'm always looking for something new...
A Grim Reaper isn't the same as a Shinigami

Another fic, even though Halloween was yesterday, something came up and I only got around to finishing it right now.

Pairing: Hijikata x Gintoki
Rated T for Okita's costume and Otae's uppercut
Wordcount: 1,964

A Grim Reaper isn’t the same as a Shinigami

Hijikata cursed, lit a cigarette and blew the offending smoke into the cold evening air. ‘Damn festival.’ How were they supposed to protect the Shogun while whole damn Edo was running around in costumes. ‘Damn Halloween.’ It wasn’t even a holiday, just some strange custom brought over by the Amanto, and to improve the relationship between the foreigners and the people of Edo, the Shogun had called for a festival. Every single stall was decorated with pumpkins, candles, garlic, knives – was that a Grim Reaper he’d just seen? – and other related items. He had beaten up Yamazaki only a few minutes ago since he had even dared to run around like a mummy while they were on duty. Kondo had told him to relax a bit and enjoy the festival, seeing as the security was pretty tight and neither Takasugi nor Katsura had been spotted for over two months.

‘Like that’s going to stop them, Takasugi is always out to overthrow the government.’ He recalled Itou and his betrayal and involuntarily quickened his pace. He passed even more stalls, even more weird black hats, brooms, a blondish girl with a scythe that suddenly started to say something – he had learned to ignore all this, he had seen stranger things happen – and now he swore he had seen that Grim Reaper again. He looked back and forth and jumped when he felt a cold hand on his shoulder. He spun around and held his katana in front of him, ready to fight for his life when he saw the Grim Reaper himself standing in front of him, black robe and scythe, the whole package. He was speechless for one whole second when a familiar voice came from under the hood.

“Ma, Hijikata-san,” The Grim Reaper pulled off his hood to reveal the deadliest of his subordinates, “Don’t be so jumpy, it’s just a festival.” And he switched the scythe back to his right hand. Hijikata had come over the initial shock enough to yell at him.

“Why the fuck are you dressed up like that?!”

“Hijikata-san, it’s a festival, Kondo-san told us to enjoy the festival.” Sougo motioned behind him, where a Kondo dressed up as gorilla – or was he always like that? – jumped towards a very pissed off looking witch with a familiar uppercut, followed by what he thought was supposed to be a werewolf and a ghost girl with bright colored hair. The picture seemed wrong for some reason – not the fact that they were all dressed up and the witch was almost killing the gorilla whilst the werewolf was trying to stop her and the ghost had suddenly gotten into a brawl with the Grim Reaper - it was more like someone was missing. If they were hanging around here, he was bound to be around here somewhere…

He huffed, turned around and started walking, leaving all the mayhem behind him. He heard some more yelling and saw the witch deliver the final falcon punch to the gorilla who went flying into the late evening sky. The Grin Reaper was busy beating up the ghost, swinging around that scythe while both were destroying the festival in the process.

Hijikata walked around, convincing himself that he was not looking for the damn bastard, he was just patrolling, looking for suspicious longhaired or one-eyed terrorists - or for a crazy sadist running around in a black robe for that matter – certainly not a silver perm-head who could only spout nonsense and steal his wallet. Speaking of that, he still needed to get him back for that.

He wondered if there was another test of courage, and his thoughts drifted back to a certain someone. Hijikata growled in annoyance, the bastard was growing on him even if he was a pain in the ass 90% of the times, 9% of the time he was a slightly less pain in the ass and the other 1% he was bearable. Hijikata put out his cigarette and threw it in a trash can, already lighting up a second one. He heard some more destruction in Sougo’s direction but ignored it, he wasn’t going to baby-sit him today. Kondo had told him to take it easy for now, and for once, he was going to follow his advice. No harm done, he could still enjoy the festival while looking out for terrorists. Enjoy was maybe the wrong word, tolerate suited better. He wasn’t very fond of this ‘Halloween’, what had happened to their old traditions? Of course they still celebrated the spirits’ departure in August, luckily, but surely they didn’t have to take over all of the Amanto’s habits. ‘Damn foreigners.’ And for once, Hijikata could align himself with the Jouishishi’s cause. He still thought about the matter and ended up thinking about the war, and again the image came to his mind. Again the silver perm-head. His ties with Katsura and Takasugi, his skilled swordsmanship… He still hadn’t figured out who he was, but he doubted he would anytime soon.

Hijikata was still deep in though when he noticed he had sort of drifted off from the festival, arriving at the supposed ‘test of courage’ but only there was no one present. He didn’t mind, the silence was welcoming, but couldn’t stop himself from looking around out of curiosity. The place seemed almost abandoned, apart from a few candles that were burning and a… coffin? That looked a bit out of place. He didn’t really know what the whole idea was but he neared it anyway. It was rather sinister, black, only some candles and… something else? He could hear something and he swore it came from the coffin. He had dealt with enough nasty surprises today, he wasn’t going to fall for that one again. He unsheathed his katana and slowly neared the coffin, preparing himself for whatever was coming. He guessed Sougo, or something related to him was going to jump out. He was now next to the coffin and still nothing had jumped out, he unwillingly sheathed his katana again and peered into the coffin.

There was someone lying in there, dressed up in strange clothes and Hijikata’s eyes wandered over the figure, till he reached his face. ‘Is that who I think it is?’ He took another look and brought his face closer, hovering over the body.

“My, my, how pleasant to see you here, Oogushi-kun.”

Hijikata had tried not to be surprised by that but still slightly jumped as the eyes flew open to reveal red irises and that all too familiar voice greeted him.

“Can’t say the same about you…”

“How cold, even though Gin-san’s a vampire, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any feelings left…”

Gintoki sat upright and scratched his hair that was combed back, yawning and stretching, presumable from lying in the coffin too long.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” Hijikata was slightly pissed, even though he had supposedly found the one he had not been looking for.

“I’m on a job.”

“You’re dressed up as a vampire…”

“I’m dressed up as a vampire for the job, I don’t have money to spare you know…”

Hijikata’s eyebrow twitched. “There was enough money in my wallet, mind you…”

“About that…”

Hijikata let it go, no way he was going to see any of his money back. He lit another cigarette, blew the smoke purposely in the other man’s face and watched the irritation grow.

“Why are you here anyway?”

“I already told you, a job where I just have to sleep in a coffin. More importantly, why are you here?”

“Looking for Sougo.”

“Okita-kun?”

“He’s dressed up as a Shinigami, he should be around here somewhere.”

“Shinigami? I’ve only seen the Grin Reaper around here, you know…”

“It’s the same thing.”

“No, it’s not, have you never read Bleach? They’d come and kill you if you called them Grim Reapers.”

“I don’t read that childish bullshit.”

“Who was the one going crazy about Sailer Moon only a few months ago?”

“…”

Hijikata went silent.

Gintoki ignored the deadly look – or even the fact that black aura was assembling around his and that Hijikata was reaching for his katana – and continued. “But seriously, Oogushi-kun, are you stalking me?” Gintoki grinned,“ Okita-kun is probably enjoying the festival over there, beating up Kagura in the process, or was there another reason why you wandered off? Unconsciously looking for me?”

Hijikata resisted the urge to use his katana and sheathed it again. “Get real!” He turned around and wanted to storm off – even if it was to just hide the bit of embarrassment that was visible on his face – but remembered Sougo was still running around somewhere probably looking to decapitate him, or at least cut off a limb or two. He could stay here, take the insults and probably get into a fight again, or go to the festival and risk to be killed whenever he rounded another corner, the choice was quickly made.

Gintoki noticed he had just stopped halfway and lay his head on his right shoulder, arms around his neck. Hijikata didn’t react violently, he didn’t even say anything and Gintoki wondered if something was wrong, but quickly changed his mind and used the moment to his own advantage.

“If you’re not going anywhere, Gin-san would only be glad to entertain you.” He whispered in his ear, getting no reaction – usually it was either embarrassment, an attempt to injure him or both – but Hijikata just sighed, not even trying to shake the man off. He put out his cigarette and scratched his hair.

“Fine…”

Gintoki grinned, showing off his vampire teeth again.

“But first take those things out of your mouth.”

“Anything for you, my little Werewolf~”

He didn’t even try to dodge the fist that came flying at him.

Okita Sougo, still dressed in black robe, roamed around the festival after getting into a fight with a ghost. He had gotten some strange looks from people attending the festival as they saw the Grim Reaper get into a fight with a ghost girl. He looked around for someone new to torture, but found none – he presumed Yamazaki had already gotten killed– and Kondo had just told him to enjoy the festival instead of fighting the whole time with either China or Hijikata. His definition of fun was torturing Hijikata, so he searched the festival for his superior.

After a while – he had given up and had bought something to eat – he saw the dark haired man coming from the supposed ‘Test of courage’ that no one went to anyway. His shirt was slightly open and he was just wounding the scarf around his neck. He combed his hair with his fingers to look decent and after pulling at his jacket a last time, he walked slowly towards the festival, not knowing that Okita Sougo had just followed his every move.

The young captain narrowed his eyes.

Hijikata presumed he looked decent enough and soon enough he reached the festival again. He looked around, searching for his superior or another Shinsengumi member that at least hadn’t forgotten why they were attending the festival.

“Hijikata-san~” Hijikata tried not to jump, he had asked for a reliable member of their forces, not the assassin that was after his life.

“Still so jumpy, Hijikata-san.”

“Get lost, I’m not in the mood to be killed.”

Sougo looked genuinely surprised, “Hijikata-san, there’s no way I’d ever want to kill you, I just wanted to give you some garlic.”

Hijikata’s mouth fell open.

“I hope Danna hasn’t bitten you, otherwise this really would kill you.”

“That’s what you’re hoping for!” And Hijikata didn’t even try to deny the fact, his reputation had been long lost anyway.

It's been five freaking days!

Damn, and here I was thinking things were going pretty well and I was updating regulary every once in a while. Been very busy this week <strike>and of course there was the laziness</strike> and while chiboula has been enjoying her vacation for about a week now, I've been stuck with even more and more work. Strange, last thing I posted was a meme thing (which I had never done before really) and forced some other people into doing it (I won't name any people to not remind them of the horrible experience) And I still haven't watched the 6th movie of One Piece. I'll never get around to doing so, so I'll put it on my IPod, then I can watch it in bits and pieces. No pun intended.

I don't actually have that much to talk about besides the fact that I think my cold is coming back and that I can finally kick back for a week. Other than that, I can go into a rant about the latest episodes of the anime I'm following, yes, let's go with that.

First there's Darker Than BLACK, which was a good episode but not one of their best, it was mostly comic relief. Again I don't like the fact that Suou became a contractor, I actually liked her character but now it's just... wrong. Hei's also become even more drunk but thank god the beard will disappear next week, now we only need his coat and mask back, together with his powers and all's well. It could be just me, but I don't like this season as much. I prefer the episodic style of the first season and this is just going to be a long story of about 12 episodes, and 4 OVA's to finish the season off.

Some pics to fill up space:

The picture in itself ain't that funny, but the fact that Hei was putting up his Lee character while an okama with orange hair was flirting with him made this picture memorable somehow...

Say cheese~

Then on to Gintama, since I obviously don't know what to say otherwise and I'm just dying to give some comments...

End of the Jiraia arc, and of course Gintoki celebrates this while being <strike>groped</strike> surrounded by women:

<strike>My my, what would Oogushi-kun think?</strike>

Enough mention of my OTP, now on to more comments about the episode. Gintama's going back to it's usual style, entertaining us with some classic Sorachi-humour. There isn't that much to say, but they did show the fake Benizakura arc trailer at the end, followed by some random background while Shinpachi was fulfilling his job as the straight man. No preview for the next episode though, makes me a bit sad, I always want to know what's going to happen next week and now we don't have info, the title or even a preview. I figure they just don't show a preview cause they want to make people so curious that they would watch it, I wouldn't put it past them. Actually, they might not have thought about this before, should I send an e-mail?

For now, enjoy some more screenshots I <strike>stole</strike> borrowed from somewhere:

A peaceful scene...

... usually turns into something like this when we're talking about Gintama.

Gintoki finally gets his R-rate scene, pity it's with the wrong person.

Is it me or does Gintoki look slightly <strike>raped</strike> violated?

We also got the full version of the ED but I don't like it that much, I was hoping for a full version of the OP.

On another note, my video seems to be almost done downloading, now just hoping that I have enough space left on there so I don't have to go deleting some of my songs...
I really have no idea how to fill up this post, I could give you like a summary of the week. I could go with that... Or I could starts talking about how my stories are <strike>not</strike> progressing... Yeah, I could do that.

I'll just post some random thing again, since I am not capable of being the slightest bit productive...

I watched the new episode of Darker Than BLACK and I'm a bit pissed at the creators for taking Hei's powers away, I'll forgive them if they give them back. There was a small plottwist in the episode that I did not expect. Spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it yet: apparently, the girl, Suou, became a contractor. Which is something I find somehow a bit... sad? I was like hoping for a character that would have a bit more emotion and for some reason I don't like the fact that she become one... What is up with her remuneration anyway? Making paper birds? I can't even make a decent paper plane that'd stay in the air for a second, let along a birdie... I'm getting off-topic again. Gintama's episode was kick-ass as well. The whole black-white effect really made it all the more special but I remember Gintoki being more pissed off in the manga, in the anime, he stayed fairly calm... Oh well, we got to see some of his past and Shoyou sensei finally got a voice, poor guy had been running around without one for more than a year now or so...

Ah, to finish this post, here's a random video for you:

<lj-embed id="2" />
I so want the BGM of this, I can't wait till it's out <strike>and someone rips it for me</strike>
Epic update is epic...

Yes it is, just because I have no idea what to write nor the creativity to find an appropriate title. Cold has lessened a lot <strike>or I took too many painkillers</strike> and I feel better now. Then again, me feeling better isn't an excuse to write some more, oh noes. Even though I started writing as a hobby and as a way to improve my English, I still find myself looking for excuses to not write. I really must be the laziest person on the whole earth...

I was going to post something useful, not happening then I guess. Since there is a distinct lack of new fanfiction worth reading today, I'm gonna watch some anime right now. Am still deciding whether it should be Darker Than BLACK or Samurai Champloo, then again, I've already finished DTB but I want some more Hei... And Mao, who can resist a black cat with purple eyes? Let's watch both... Too much of a dilemma...

There are still so many series I have to finish, I'm only at episode 13 or something of FMA Brotherhood...

Ah, it seems my episode's done loading...
Of sexgods and hobos...

Day 2 of crappyness... Since I spend last entry describing my state, I will now post something useful for a change.

First of all, normally, if an anime goes into a second season, the characters become more attractive, and get even nicer clothes or something. Or the animation improves, a new villain shows up blablabla...

Now then, first watch this pic of Hei during the first season of Darker Than BLACK, sexgod bringing smexy back in all ways:

Now you all agree with me that of course, season two would be an improvement. See here, Hei à la season two, first Hobo Contractor in history:

SHAVE THE BEARD!!!!

Ugh...

Very inventive title, I know. Just trying to illustrate how crappy I feel. Yesterday I was all like 'Hurray, I finally found how to use my mood themes!' I never thought I'd get to use my 'sick' icon so early. I caught it from someone, I just know it. There was this girl and she was sick one day and just yesterday, she decided to come back. My throat and head are killing me and still I insist on listening to music, I really must be a masochist. Just why am I always the one getting infected with a cold while everyone around me stays miraculousy healthy, no matter how many times I 'accidently' sneeze on them. Freakin' hitchhiking virus...

Also, a discovery I made yesterday, before the hitchhiking virus got to me, when watching tv:

Is it me or does Taka-tin bear a striking ressemblance to Hulk Hogan? Or did everyone already notice this and I didn't because I saw Hulk Hogan for the first time on tv last night? You can't deny that Sorachi was hinting in this direction... Even I can see this with the damn hitchhiking virus... Please tell me I'm the first to notice this, or I'll gladly start feeling like a real idiot, next to feeling extremely crappy right now.

Now on another subject, I finally got around to watching the first two episodes of the new Darker Than BLACK season and I found it hard to get used to Hobo!Hei, and also the fact that he seems to have a drinking problem now... I could now give a long list with possbilities and theories, but I'll save my geeking out over the episodes for the DTB comm. Although one last thing before I finish this post:

SHAVE THE DAMN BEARD!

Done now, I'll go hitchhike someone...

Mood themes

Once upon a time, I decided to try and use this complicated feature on LJ known as 'Mood Themes'. I tried it out and used those blue little cats for a while, cause I found it fun to see that cat sitting next to 'accomplished' and type away on its computer. Then, I tried to make a Custome Mood Theme, and me being the most technical noob here on LJ, tried making one with a few icons I had found. Then again, since I was unknowing and naïve, I left the box with 'width and length' open, because, once again, me lacking a brain for storing information about computers and the like, did not have the slightest idea what to put in there. I used icons to fill up the little boxes next to 'working' and 'happy' to try it out, but even when I used the Mood Theme, no Mood pic would appear. Me in despair <strike>kicked my compute</strike>r searched and searched <strike>two seconds</strike> for the answer, but still it would not appear before my eyes. Now a little question to anyone reading this: do you have a Custom Mood Theme? Say yes and read on, say no and go read some of my other dump I posted here. Do you know how I should make one? Nod yes and read on, say no and join me in my noobness. Would you care to give me a little advice? Say no and I won't ever love you... Summary of this post: How do you create a Custom mood Theme? Can I use icons as pictures or not? And if not, what pictures should I use? And last but not least, how should I fill the 'width and length' box in? I'd be eternally greatful for even the slightest bit of advice!
